Shin-Yurigaoka General Hospital (SYGH) is located in the north of Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Due to lack of hospital beds in this region, Southern TOHOKU Hospital Group (STHG) applied for a regional healthcare project of new referral hospital to fill the service gaps through establishing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Department of Pediatrics and other medical specialties. In 2019, SYGH celebrated its 7th anniversary since its grand opening in August 2012.

Our mission is to contribute to regional healthcare and make continuous efforts to meet patients’ needs and demands. Every year, we emphasize professionalism and human resource management to supply skilled manpower in medicine and healthcare.

The newest statistics for year 2016 tell that the number of ambulance and emergency services is more than 6,000 and the number of surgeries we conducted is more than 5,000. Our focuses are patient-centered care and team-based approach to support interdisciplinary teamwork. We deliver adequate and minimally invasive medical treatments to patients in order to foster healing relationships and quality of life (QOL).

Cooperation between hospitals and medical institutions has been important and we have more than 500 agreements signed with partners from all over the world. We welcome patient referrals and back referrals from other healthcare providers and physicians and look forward to smooth working relationship in attaining our common goal and object.
