Dr. Sadayoshi Watanabe
Superintendent
Tokyo General Hospital

Tokyo General Hospital is a 10-minute train ride from sub-CBD (central business district) of Shinjuku. The Egota-no-Mori Park is located north of our hospital, which offers an environment with peaceful and soothing ambiance.

Seven years have been passed since the grand opening in 2010. The new Advanced Medical Care Building, situated on 1.5 acres of land, is equipped with Stroke Center, Cardioloigy Center, Pediatric Emergency Center and Radiation Therapy Center to provide acute care, highly specialized care and intensive rehabilitation service.

Moreover, we are actively working to introduce state-of-the-art radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging equipment to better medical systems so that patients can receive treatment that suits their needs best.

In order to fulfill our role as a major regional hospital, we invest in not only medical equipment, but medical manpower training. Our hospital is accrediated as a venue for compulsory postgraduate clinical training by Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare as well as specialized training programs by various academic medical societies.

Southern TOHOKU Hospital Group aims to achieve the mission of “excellence Japan for your health and hope.” We strive for the same mission to become the most trusted reignial hospital in Tokyo.
